Meet your trainer

Sarah Surritt is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a graduate of Karen Pryor Academy.  She founded and leads the "Pawsitive Practices" volunteer training team with San Diego's local private Humane Society so that shelter dogs can receive hand-ons training to increase visibility and adoption rates.

Sarah's teaching style is welcoming, easy-going and positive. She has over 17 years of experience teaching pet parents how to train their dogs using dog-friendly, force-free techniques so that they can create a relationship based on trust and uncover the path to living happily ever after.

Sarah is a wife, mom to 3 young boys, and caretaker of her personal menagerie of 25 suburban farm pets.
